These are pictures from our trip to Mexico February 2005.

On our second full day (Friday, February 25) we decided to ride into Playa del Carmen to do some shopping. The first order of business was getting into town, which was easily accomplished by riding the Collectivo, something we got used to. Just because they are 12 passenger vans doesn't mean you won't get 14 people riding. |

I guess this fountain marks the end of the "shopping district" where all the little storefronts end, and the other way is a little more "upscale." |

As we wandered through this "upscale" area, we found a place to get our picture taken with these cute little squirrel monkeys. First Brian & Stacy. |

Then Sherry and Lonnie (me). They're very soft. Later Stacy had her picture taken with an iguana, and had a practical joke pulled on her, but (alas) I didn't get a picture. |

Straight down from the fountain is the pier, with ferry service to/from Cozumel. While we didn't take the ferry, we saw people who did. :) |

While we didn't take the ferry to Cozumel, we were right next to Senor Frogs, just at the right time to get a drink. |

Jenny, I guess she's looking out at the ocean. (Or someone was talking to her) |

Playa del Carmen has a very nice beach also. I was trying to get more great "beach pictures." This one was taken from the building that acts as a terminal for the Cozumel ferry. |

Sherry bought some bracelets here, with Cam & Addison's names on them. Kyle and Jenny sat & rested while they were being made. |

Brian, Sherry & Stacy took the time to do a little more shopping. |
