Ahh.  Back to normalcy.  Things have calmed down somewhat.  I hate that summer goes by so fast, but it is always such a busy time.  Now, the next thing you know it'll be Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas... and another year will be gone.  Snow on the ground.

The Decker reunion in New York has been postponed to next year, so I will ultimately have much more time to prepare.  I've decided that I would really like to do a presentation on Lucius & Minard Decker, and their lives leading up to their fate at Gettysburg.  But, in order to do so, I will need to do more research to tie up some loose ends, starting with getting the military records for Minard.  I have them for Lucius (if I can still find them), and while I am at it, maybe I should get the records for William, another brother who also served in the Civil War.
