April 2009

First off, I have to say that the date at the bottom of this post is incorrect.  Writing about April on May 17 just seems... well... wrong.  So I backdated it two days.  Not a big deal, realistically (I hope), but at least that hides that fact that I waited until more than half the following month to write about the previous month.  And it gives me something to write about to start this post.  This is important because I can't really think of a lot to write about April.  So, it's not like I haven't been thinking about writing this, but haven't had much to say.

OK... so the main thing about April that comes to mind is work.  Not hard work, but busy work.  Finishing up teaching a semester while preparing for the next and making sure classes have instructors, and instructors have textbooks...  it's just a whole bunch of little things to worry about, mixed in amongst some bigger tasks that take more time.  Sometimes I just set everything aside and take a genealogy break.

Then, I get to come home and spend time with Eliana.  She is adorable, and she is growing so fast - 11 months on May 2.  Summer will be coming at a perfect time for her - so much for us to do with her this year.

Seems like everyone in my life is very busy right now.  Steph's back to school, Briana works a lot (and got tired of pizza), and Kyle is getting close to graduating (October is the plan now) then can come back to Michigan.  They grow up fast.
