My Journey:

 Back
April 2008

I was right, April was a busy month.  I made three or four trips to Lansing, and one to Grand Rapids (for the Davenport University Commencement).  I assisted with a job fair, and presented at a conference at Delta College.  It sure made the month go by fast.  On top that, I have begun planning for my summer trips (one to upstate New York - with genealogy mixed in, and another to Minneapolis for my own commencement for Capella University).  We finished a semester and started another one.  My April this year felt like most of my Augusts.  Maybe it has something to do with being a month starting with the letter A.  My sincere hope is this year I will be able to spend an August with a lot more opportunity to relax... take some days off early in the year while I still can (before I lose them).

Let's see.. what else is going on.  Well, not much it seems.  I've now stained & varnished most of the wood trim in the second floor hall, and it sure makes a difference.  I have to remove the radiator so that I can get to the baseboard behind it, as well as paint that wall, but in the meantime I can work on the trim near the ceiling and also start stripping down doors.
