October 2006 With the passing of Halloween and all the leaves falling, it is pretty obvious that winter is on the way. The pool is covered, time to bring in the grill (not that I use it that much), and get ready for colder weather. It seems as if it is increasingly difficult to write a whole lot of stuff in here without repeating myself... that kind of life, I guess. But my biggest project right now is much more work on the third floor bedroom remodel. While I have been putting much more time into it than I have in six months or more, it is much harder to see any progress. That would be because I am down to more detailed type of work - window trim specifically right now. Trimming those arched windows has been on my mind ever since I started this project, but I have finally figured out what I am going to do with them, and have been working on them. I've also gotten into some oak plywood in order to start finishing the wall with the built-ins. The details may take a while, but working a little here and there, they will get done. The end of this project is nearly in sight.
