A Work in Progress - First Floor - Front Porch

It never really occurred to us to take pictures of the front porch before we did anything to it.  With summer coming and the weather

warming, we (meaning Sherry) just couldn't take the smelly old carpet anymore.  Underneath are the original porch floorboards, with several layers of paint.  Something will probably have to be done with this room someday, as the pine wainscoting was installed with a layer of Styrofoam, which is visible from the outside between the open blocks.
